Takeoff41, Inc. (“Takeoff41,” “we,” or “us”) builds TPN2.0, clinical decision support software for neonatal parenteral nutrition. This policy explains how we handle personal information we collect through takeoff41.com and related activities, such as demo requests, webinars, and emails with us (together, the “Website”).
1. Information this policy does not cover
Hospitals and health systems use TPN2.0 under written agreements with us, including a Business Associate Agreement under HIPAA. Patient information we process for a hospital is governed by those agreements and by the hospital’s own privacy notice, not by this policy.
If you are a patient or family member and want to see, correct, or delete health information, please contact your hospital directly. We will support the hospital as our agreements require. Please do not send patient information through the Website, our forms, or email.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details, such as your name, email address, organization, and role, when you contact us, request a demo, register for a webinar, or ask to hear about future sessions.
- Professional details, such as your credentials and the information needed to issue continuing education credit, when you take part in an accredited webinar.
- The content of your messages and any requests you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Our website hosting provider receives standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time. We use this data to run and secure the Website.
- The Website loads icons from a third-party content delivery network, which also receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
- The Website does not use advertising cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels, or similar tracking technologies.
- Our marketing emails use standard features that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to improve our emails.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To schedule and hold demos, webinars, and other events, and to issue continuing education credit.
- To send you updates about our webinars, research, and products. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in our emails or by contacting us.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Website.
- To comply with the law and to protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only in the following ways.
- With service providers that work for us, such as website hosting, email and productivity, email marketing, customer relationship management, scheduling, event registration, and online form providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- With accrediting organizations and co-providers, when needed to award continuing education credit.
- With professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants, and with authorities when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
- With a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, who must keep honoring this policy.
- With others, when you ask us to or agree to it.
5. Third-party services
Some Website features take you to services run by other companies. These include Cal.com for demo scheduling and Luma for webinar registration. Their own privacy policies apply to the information you give them. Journals, news sites, and other websites we link to are also governed by their own policies.
6. Do Not Track and tracking by other parties
We do not track visitors over time or across other websites, and we do not knowingly allow other parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites through the Website. Because we do not track visitors, the Website does not change how it works in response to Do Not Track signals.
7. Your choices and requests
You can ask us to do any of the following.
- Delete your personal information.
- Send you a copy of your personal information.
- Correct personal information that is wrong.
- Stop sending you marketing emails.
We honor these requests for everyone who uses the Website, wherever they live. To make a request, use the privacy request form below or email hello@takeoff41.com.
We will confirm that we received your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity, usually by replying from the email address you used with us. We may keep limited information when the law requires it, when it is needed to finish something you asked for, or to record that we completed your request. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
9. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and our security program is independently audited. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for healthcare professionals and business audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Website. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If the law where you live gives you additional privacy rights, contact us and we will respond as that law requires.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make material changes, we will also post a notice on the Website before the changes take effect.
